Family owned and operated since 1997, The Beach House is a charming shop whose customers come back again and again.  The Beach House is well known throughout the Jersey Shore for its enchanting front window displays featuring scenes created with our seasonal decor.  As you stroll through the shop you will feel as if you have wandered into several different specialty shops all contained under the same roof.

The Beach House enjoys participating in Ocean Grove’s town-wide events such house tours, holiday events, and craft shows.  We also provide cookies and hot refreshments to our guests while they enjoy a leisurely visit.  

Owner:

Catherine Morrisy is the owner and proprietor of The Beach House.  Cathie has a background in retail and fashion merchandising from Berkley.  Upon graduation from college, Cathie worked for many years for large department stores such as Bamberger's, Macy's, and Alexander's to name a few.  After a brief respite, a period during which she raised her three children, Cathie opened her own "little store." But with Cathie's attention to detail and uncanny ability to attractively present items for sale, The Beach House has grown to almost 3,000 square feet, plus a large adjacent warehouse.  Although still not a major department store,  The Beach House is "no longer just a little store."  Above all, Cathie takes pride in helping her customers to find attractive gifts at a fair price, while making them feel welcome and very much at home.
